Whisky Bakery derives its name from the words whisk and whisky.

Our founder, whose name is Celal Onur Ozcelik, started baking just to satisfy his curiosity a long time ago. He then realized that baking had become a real passion of his.

Our founder came to the US to pursue a career in Clinical Psychology. The thing that had always been present in the mind of our founder was launching a bakery business while pursuing a career in Clinical Psychology. He decided to make his passion a second career along with Clinical Psychology. His vision, drive and initiative played a key role in establishing our company. Our founder comes from the city which is very famous for its delightful pastries, syrupy desserts, milk-based puddings and unique appetizers. He humorously quips that everyone in his hometown is a great cook or baker. He aspires to produce high-quality pastries, create an atmosphere of trust between him and his customers and bring the smoothest delivery service to New York’s groceries, cafes, restaurants and supermarkets. He cannot overstate the importance of patience when it comes to baking. In his opinion, patience is the single most ingredient in baking. He points out that even a single mistake can cause irreparable results in baking, so it requires a lot of attention, good-timing, dedication and hard work.

We produce all of our freshly baked products every day. We don’t freeze or pre-package our food items. It may be cliché to say it, but we still make our products in the old school way- by hand. They keep their shapes and freshness for hours and hours. We constantly increase the range of our baked goods. Our mission is to please you with a broad range of handcrafted foods. Some are healthful and some are indulgent. All of them are treats. While our product range and distribution grow rapidly, our commitment to fine craftsmanship will always remain the same as it was the day we removed our first tray of loaves from the oven.
